Snow Gum

Decided to step a little out of my comfort zone and challenge myself. I used my digital artwork as inspiration to bring my interpretation of the snow gum to life.

Snow gums are usually found in the Snowy Mountains. Traditionally Eucalyptus trees were used as infusions for sinus infections, congestion, fever, and colds as well as for body pains. 

Eucalyptus trees are also associated with the spiritual realm. They are often seen as sacred trees that connect the earth to the sky, representing the connection between the physical world and our ancestors.

This piece also symbolises strength and belonging. Reminding us to never forget our roots, humbling us to remember where we’ve started and where we belong
